Ask questions, know why you are taking something, will you ever be able to get off of it, can you just stop it or do you need to taper, what are the side effects, why does this medicine do what it does. Pharmacist, doctors, nurses, therapist, physical therapists . . . we are all here to help and thats why we went into our fields. More knowledgeable patients get better care.
